Instructions
Place 2 tbsp ground flax in a small bowl and add 6 tbsp water and let sit.
Preheat oven to 350
Line a square baking dish with parchment paper
Place flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg in large bowl and mix well.
In a large measuring cup add applesauce, vanilla, olive oil and sugar. Then add flax mixed with water and stir.
Add wet ingredients into dry and mix well by hand, or with a mixer.
Add any optional ingredients
Pour into pan and bake for 50-60 minutes
