Last Wednesday a local man fell while climbing Middle Sister. He didn’t survive. Richard Boruta was the kind of person everyone respected. He was a coach, mentor, husband, father, a kind and generous man. I can’t describe him better than what was written about him in the local newspaper and I invite you to read about his life in the link above. His impact was far reaching and the flags at half mast at the Nordic Centre were a fitting tribute to his memory.
He reminded everyone that there really is no time to waste. Whatever your goals, do something daily to make them a reality.
At his service, one of his athletes quoted him as often saying, “You can’t hit the target if you don’t aim”
This week I would like to know, What are you aiming for? What is the target?
In honour of Richard, a man of few words and a lot of action. I won’t waste your time with words, I only want to know what it is you really want to do and maybe more importantly, what are you doing to hit the target?
Change your mind, change your health,
Shayla
