A great taco filling, an addition to veggie bowls or add this to pasta as a sauce. The photo is from our trip to Italy when the chef shared his mushroom pasta ingredients.
Ingredients:
- Sliced organic crimini mushrooms
- Sliced portabella mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2-3 cloves of chopped garlic
- 1/2 cup sliced sweet onion
Directions:
Heat olive oil in pan. Add onions, garlic, red pepper flakes and cook for 2-3 minutes until onions are soft.
Add mushrooms. Cook for a few minutes. Remove.
Serve as a side dish or topping.
