Evolution Book Club!

After so many great responses from my Recommended Reading post, I am going to have an Evolution Coaching Book Club. You had so many great questions and comments I am going to start an online book club. The facts and the fiction when it comes to health, fitness, nutrition and more.

The first book is my current fave! How Not to Die, by Dr. Michael Greger.

Join me on Monday, October, 16th at 7:00 PM Pacific / 8:00 PM Mountain / 10:00 Eastern. There is plenty of time to read this interesting and informative book. Even if you don’t read the book you can still join the book club!

We will talk about the book and all the things you could do to improve your diet to stay healthy. I will send the link out to the meeting room sooner to the date. I would love to see you there!

Can your weight affect how you look at food?

Yes, it can. New research in the journal Biological Psychology shows that normal, or underweight, people pay more attention to natural foods and overweight people pay more attention to processed foods. However, they don’t prove which came first, the weight or the attention to processed foods. Something to consider next time you are contemplating buying processed foods.

It’s fall!

Time for a pumpkin recipe. Here is a great snack or dessert, Pumpkin, Zucchini, Chocolate Chip and Walnut Loaf. Easy to make and eat. The temperature is for higher altitude baking so if you are making this at sea level, set the oven at 350 degrees.
