Even though I recommend going to a gym to exercise, exercising at home is better than not exercising.
Some people can make working out at home part of their routine. They have the right equipment and space for exercise. Or they don’t have access to a gym, very limited time, kids at home and this makes working out at home easier.
There are drawbacks, like limited equipment choices. This makes it harder to increase the intensity. One way is to incorporate High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) into your routine.
HIIT is a great way to increase the difficulty when you don’t have a lot of options.
An example of a HIIT workout at home could be,
Start with a 10-minute warm-up. Then perform 30 seconds of squats, pushups, rows, planks, and crunches. Followed by 2 minutes of easy aerobic exercise and repeat 2-3 times.

Tips for strength training
Exercise is better than no exercise. Increasing strength is as important as aerobic exercise.
Wherever you decide to exercise keep these three tips in mind:
Make it convenient.
Make it easy to add to your day.
Have a plan for increasing the intensity as you get stronger.
