A new, but a small study suggests there is one very easy way to prevent gaining extra weight.
Daily weigh-ins.
The people who weighed themselves daily in The Obesity Society study, either maintained or lost weight during their holidays or while on vacation.
They were not instructed to do anything but weigh themselves every day.
That is all it took to make a difference. Which is counterintuitive to most weight loss advice – don’t weigh yourself every day you will only get frustrated with the daily variations.
