Do you need a little extra motivation to get moving when the days get shorter? Having a workout buddy can make the difference, but choosing the right one makes all the difference.
What makes a good workout partner? According to new research from the University of Aberdeen, having a new workout partner that is emotionally supportive is better then choosing a friend with common interests.
The factor that made the most difference wasn’t that the person showed up every time, but that they were encouraging, emotionally supportive and new, not an old friend.
This got me thinking. November can be a hard month to stay on track. It’s dark, the weather is only getting worse and sometimes it is easier to hibernate till the new year. November is also the month that you can set yourself up for success. I have done various November challenges before, but this year I am going to try something different.
If you want to increase your motivation, stick to your fitness routine and feel better before the holiday season join me for the New November Challenge. It’s free for one month and it is one way you can stay accountable for the month of November.
What have you got to lose?
What do you need to do? Send me an email and I will send you all the details to get the support and accountability that could make the difference this November.
